<description>Kris, this is a remarkable compilation, and you are very generous to make it so widely available. I&#039;d like to tap your generosity one step further: I am writing a book, for the MIT Press, on the history of Silicon Valley Design, I am hoping to spend of bit of time in conversation with you about some of these themes. Can you let me know if this will be OK? I will also try to reach you through the Exploratorium.

<description>I worked there with Steve Gano and Margo Nanny as a paid intern and research lab assistant when I was in high school, fostered by my physics teacher Pete Saxby - I had a great opportunity and fully enjoyed the experience working on the Multimedia Encyclopedia released on laser disk – I even appear on the disk.

It’s fun to see where technology goes – I see elements of the developments that began there everywhere in everyday life now. Truly amazing, I was devastated when I had to leave and move to continue school elsewhere.

Thanks for bringing that memory back - I miss those days of innovation a raw experimentation.
